Come on squeak ... live on the edge. 15 minutes to spare is nothing ... as long as you have 1 more minute than you have miles to the off ramp you're good.

VA ... deliver tomorrow in PA.

haha,yep....some times I go multiple days in a row finishing with a red exclamation mark on my Qualcomm.....and even if I'm out west always a decent place to park....even if just off the roadside( safely of course) besides it's the fourteen hour clock that's the killer....I can play play play with even one min driving time and extend it for miles,lol......but once your fourteen is up.....ur done.....

    ps.....shhhhh on what I said...about playing the minute for miles it's a secret.:biggrin_25525:

Do you live in El Paso squeak?
I'm in West Monroe, LA and had quite a crazy day. I came here to pick up a load going to Zachary, LA.
Got to GP and started looking for the trailer I am supposed to pickup but was having a hard time finding it.
After driving around for hours, come to find out shipping made separate BOL paperwork for the same trailer and another driver ended up picking up my load and delivered it. It took Memphis and GP plant manager (who was called in from church and was not happy about it) to get to the bottom of the whole thing. In the end, I ended up burning up seven hours of my clock.

I've gotten pretty good at predicting arrival time at my next stop. I hit 0 minutes to drive at the bottom of an off-ramp once after driving a bit over 700 miles for the day.

Like Steve said, I live in Ohio. It is just the way that I use the system to my advantage. When they might be thinking about trying to run me NE or NW or the SE, I just hurry and throw in a home time request for either El Paso or Goodyear. I use to use Fontana until they closed. What I will normally do is as soon as I come out of the home in Ohio, I put in a request for some place in the south west. Then it is on them. My DM even knows that I do this.
