Gary OC. Apparently, dispatch didn't get the note that I had 'Hey dummy, don't hit stuff with your truck' training in Indy tomorrow. Talked to 1st shift today, it's being changed. And yes, I checked with them before I drove all the way here.

Have you got your 90 day training review coming up or did you run into something? I had to do safety training in Gary too when I hit a tree branch bobtailing in my own driveway with my fairing and bent it... they made me do the slow maneuver course on the sim and write down what happened and what I would do to prevent it from happening again, had the safety guy laughing out loud when I told him why I was there and what kind of accident I had... will never live that down.

Yesterday was day 90 with the big orange...I did my 90 day training in GB back around the end of March. Backing into what turned out to be an impossible - for me - dock, I bumped a curb & blew a steer tire...hit the corner just right & punctured tge sidewall :( So, 'hey, dummy' training...sigh.
Thanks for the heads up on what it will be like! And I remember reading about your "accident" way back when...

Leerjak Travel Center in Ellisnore, MO. I could have gone an extra hour and a half but according to Jill and my own personal gps this is the only truck parking on Jill's route for a long while. Not a big deal though. Leaves me with 494 miles to go tomorrow which I can do. Thankfully my fuel stop is in the same town I'm delivering in because just getting there will eat up most of my day. I can park there for a 10 if I have to. My 10 will be up at 2:30ish AM CT so I can roll early if I want.
