Why are you opting out of the per diem? How is it set up that you are not interested in it?

Schneider charges .02 per mile to use per diem. At the end of the year the deduction ends up being the same or less than if you used the standard meal deduction but you will have earned .02 cpm less or between $2,000 and $3,000 less. The only tax savings is found in the FICA - then when you go to take social security it will be significantly less.

Smartphones make jury duty easier. I think I'm going to reading a lot of threads today.

I have used different ones over the years. Ran a Coleman for about 2 years with no problems.

I ran the Coleman for about 2 years as well, it finally went out and it didn't fit well in the Cascadia so I bought the Koolatron and I would say it wworks a bit better but has less room. Course it takes up less room as well.
