Petro 180A I-94 Portage, WI. Hopefully deliver in Mt Vernon, IL tomorrow, which would be a full day early.

I am starting to think all the planners quit and they hired a kindergarten kid to do the planning. There is something going on just not sure what.

Gingersquatch I think you're in flatbed right? Wouldn't you like to know what Roehl gets paid on those short flatbed loads? That makes me wonder on some of that if a driver would be better off on %. I do see you had to relay a load though.

No I wouldn't. I know % almost always pays better. The original plan was to work my 120k miles to pay for the school and decide on what to do from there. If days like Friday become a regular thing, I won't be here very long. I don't like the squeaky wheel gets greased attitude but apparently from what I hear from other drivers, that's exactly what is needed here. You get capped upon, you complain, and it gets really good for a week then back to normal and the cycle repeats

I know days like that are part of flatbed world and all part of being a team player and I won't complain about it once, maybe twice a month. But after that I'll start raising hell

Listening to WKRP, 75 XIT 29, great food options here, chipolte, Popeye, Tim horton , Wendy's and waffle house. Had Cajun fish for lunch, been craving fish lately. Need to go back to Maine for a lobster roll.

Sitting on a side road waiting for a preplan for over two hours now. Tick Tock times a wasting. In Dallas just one of the biggest freight lanes there is.

Lobster rolls are awesome...had a couple there on vacation. Best ones were from 2 elderly gentlemen down in Boothbay. Place was so small that there was no seating on the inside, one guy was the cook the other one a baker. Awesome rolls....and very fresh.
