Texas is a long way from Pa. Good miles and you are sure to get a fast reload from the Houston area.

Good point on the miles and the reload is debated able my buddy that did the training academy got his truck lady Monday in Atlanta got to sent to Houston and literally one whole day he just did 130 miles of small runs in the Houston area after two days they finally got him out of there and up to ohio which actually he was at same truck stop last night in Pa with me cause he had an unload here in Pa also. Like I said though I would love to he in Houston for two days cause my gf lives there so it's all good lol

We call that local work at Superior. Anything under 75 miles is paid hourly. I do it when asked at my home terminal. Not real crazy about doing it at another terminal.

For a while our Chicago area terminals would try to get other terminal guys to do hourly local work because we were paid like &4.00 per hour less than there guys.

It has something to do with Union rates in that market inflating pay making it hard for them find local drivers without paying them more. When I found that out I started refusing to do it.

We all use most of the same tank washes yes Schneider does have some of their own tank washes like Houston OC has one but mainly use Qualawash
