7/11 fuel stop Just south of Vernon, TX Headed to Aurora, CO. Beautiful day. Beautiful fuel Mileage. Lovely tail wind. 8.9mpg's on the clock. Livin K Dub 680 style. We goneeeeeeeeee!!

I was in TX unloading 4 pallets one night after a multi stop load . I went back in , and the guy said 280 bucks .
I started laughing and said no really how much is it.
He said 280 again..... I then proceeded to ask if they washed it out and fueled it up too.
he didnt think that was funny.

 

I was at 5 food warehouses last week in LA area total of
lumpers receipts were bigger then my check............sigh

 

That's where the real money in this industry is. That and lot lizardry. At least with the latter the driver enjoys getting ######.

Gonna take me a nap , wait for my phone to ring . Then I am gonna back this sum ##### into a door and go back to bed.

I talked my DM into giving me a less then 300 mile load , that way I hit Wednesday's cut off and I hit the sliding pay scale for .44 cents a mile ..... yeahaaaaw! !!!!

 

I'm at the TA in Livingston, CA. Parked in my reserved spot. There's 3 left so I wasn't the only one who planned ahead.

 

i use the reserve spots anytime i feel the need
but hardly ever up on 99

most places up in Stockton and Modesto you can find street parking
but i would rather pay for a spot then get blocked in like up in Ripon
