Ok I have a question maybe somebody could help me out. I was in indiana and a trooper pulled me over because I was in the truck restricted lane and recieved a ticket for it. And this was my first offense ive never gotten a ticket before. Will this result in points? And I live in new jersey.

I believe it will as its a moving violation.
-
If you plead guilty and pay the fine then yes it probably will. Or you could hire a lawyer and let them deal with it then maybe not. But you will more than likely still have to pay the fine plus the lawyer.

Any idea how many points? Cause im trying to leave otr driving and go to a local car hauling company I just dont want points to be an issue with me getting the new job. This was my first offense. I really need that local car hauling job.

Pay the fine, chalk it up to an experience. Trying to fight some of this, especially if you're clearly in the wrong costs much more than the ticket, and the time and money isn't worth it, especially when it stasis on your CSA.
GITRDUN45, CellNet and Raiderfanatic Thank this. -
It won't be many for a lane violation. Most likely 10 or under.
-
CSA points or points on your license?
-
Not to worry, most companies don't mind a few points, just be up front with them.
ptrbilt92 Thanks this. -
Points on my license im talking about cause like I said im trying to get a local car hauling job but I dont want a few points on my license to jeopardize it. Cause I wanna leave otr and do that local job. I've never gotten a ticket.

It's 3 points on your CSA. I wouldn't worry about it.
joseph1135 Thanks this.
