So far as a PSD I have drove both days we have been out and even though I have 8 months exp from 2008 its nice to have a laid back trainer who understands. The program will take me for 75 behind the wheel hours of training, I will need to work on my backing and pretrip to get my cdl again as I had to let it go at lic renewal time. The TnT program you have to do 40k truck miles with trainer some TnT feel confident enough with the trainee that they can run like a team, the way most other companys do it after the student gets good enough. with the psd program I will 10k credit going in to the TnT phase after I pass the MO skills test. I am going in the flatbed div and will do my best to provide a run down on my exp on the whole program to aid others in their decision on weather or not to go PRIME INC. If you look my other posts you will see that I drove for CRST before and I wish that I had found prime back then cuz I would prob never left trucking in the first place.
From the GA Pilot we are parked at for the night be safe all and I hope my posts will help someone out.
PSD - TnT - Upgrade my experience as I go along with it

Well things are going good, learning how to tarp and roll them. learning load securement and getting ready for my skills test next week, I am getting close to my 75 hours of behind the wheel training. I just know that I want to get my CDL again and start making some real money the 200$ loan each week sucks due to the ATM fees and comdata fees.

I tell my students to try and take it in one transaction.
For example take the full $200 the first week, and if he's got $50 left over the next week only take $100 the second. Basically adjust the amount you take so you only do it once and there is only one fee.
you don't have to take the full amount, and you only have to payback what you take... Interest free at $25/week after you pass your CDL test.123456 Thanks this. -
Good luck with flatbed yes its different but can be done I loaded with an older lady last week at CNH they loaded the tractor on her rgn and she took over from there...securing it by herself

Well I hit the tri-fecta yesterday and now I have to do the sleep study and re do the physical in the am it will be nice all of this done and I can make some money.
ironpony Thanks this. -
Got all of the stuff done and got 2 weeks home time, it was nice but I am happy to be back in the truck. This 53' step deck is a curse and is causing us to route around IN due to the trailer weight and the axles needing to be spread. Load securement, is not hard to figure out, its how to tarp the coils that is a pain. However I must say flatbed is the way for me, with exercise for securement and tarping.
The Challenger Thanks this. -
I despise drop decks. Mainly because nobody knows how to freakin load them. Especially western tube in long beach. Last time I was there it took 3 times of them just not listening to me in the first place to get my axle weights legal.
