Does anyone here currently work for dupre if so can you give me any info good or bad? Also explain the hiring process.

They love to micro manage you with all their rules and they monitor your driving thru a system called "green road" such as hard braking, speed and how you go round a corner. If it goes off, they will want to have a chat with you.
I worked for them for 5 mths, got bored with it and left. I hauled fuel for them. But I only got maybe 2-3 loads a shift. Anymore and they thought it was too dangerous and a safety risk. Just a ridiculous assumption.
You're going to be paid by the hour depending on your experience. Orientation usually takes place in Louisiana in their corp office. You really have to get overtime over and above the 40 hrs otherwise you won't make decent $$.
I mean they're a good solid co, but it just wasn't for me. I'm an experienced driver, so I don't like all this monitoring nonsense.

I had a pal interview with them around cincinnati he had over 25 years tanker and a clean record but had job jumped a few times in the past three years they would not take him because of this...he said very safety oriented great equipment dont know about bennies..pay was $20.00 hour OT after I think he said 50 hours(maybe 40 I dont remember) really strict on hiring..this is all I know maybe it will help you a little...
