Yeah, new hires generally will get their physical from the truck company's Doc who sends the completed long form/wallet card to the safety dept since they're paying for it. Then, on top of that, they will also do a drug screen to make sure the new-hire is drug free and also send that to the safety dept. The drug screen that's included with the physical is a "dip stick" instant results and actually is a blood sugar test. So, at the end of orientation and assuming he's hired, management will give the new hire his wallet card and a copy of the long form and keep a copy for the files.
