The Pro's & Con's would be: Anybody have any answers to these
1- Good to work for
2- Money is good or not
3- Stay busy with work or not -
Hi,
I work with R&R Trucking in their hiring process (I know, I'm slightly biased). I think the Pro's and Con's that I hear most from drivers that have worked for them in the past are that 1- they are a great company to work for, I've been to Duenweg, MO and visited the terminal. It is a family environment there and they truly care about their drivers and teams. 2/3- this is more debatable. Teams will average about $1,000 per driver per week (50k per year each) and about 3,500-4,000 miles per week. Some drivers see this mileage as WAY too low and way too much down time. However, you're going to be starting at .55/per mile with guard duty pay, layover pay, etc. Basically, you're getting paid more for less work at R&R. It's not a reefer company where you're forced to make the load at a certain time, R&R cares about safety and compliance. You're hauling pretty important freight!! They're proud of what they do at R&R and want their drivers to have a similar sense of pride in what they're doing. Not sure if this helps at all, but gives you some basic information about the position. If you want more information, you can call 414-774-7777 and ask for Lauren.
Have a good weekend,
Laurenhorsecrazychic22 Thanks this.
