Right Brian, because I lease I can't afford a CB, GPS, tv, PlayStation 3, a brand new laptop, a brand new phone bought at full retail, a new phone last year too, and even a ridiculously expensive collection of e-cig mods... oh wait, I do have all those things, my husband didn't pay for them and I'm not a coach. The lease is NOT a death sentence. I'm not out here eating steak and lobster every night nor is the income enough to be the sole provider for a family of four, but I know current and former Trans Am lease ops who have done fine despite the odds. They are the exception, not the rule. TransAm does not provide enough foundation for people to succeed as easily as they make it sound. They plan on the majority failing. But I go home when I want and never have been given the runaround about receiving lost utilization or breakdown if I qualify for it within clear cut guidelines. Most people don't realize that if you edit your logs, you lose your bonus.

I'm done on that topic. Having a bad day for personal reasons. Trailer got redtagged so I'm waiting for that before I can head to California. I'm over it. Looking forward to home time again. Got new juice and stuff waiting for me and a wad of cash saved just yo do something fun on home time with the family.

 

I think that we have been through all of this before. Everyone's circumstances are different depending on whether or not they have a family, a mortgage, rent to pay, the need for health insurance, utilities to pay, etc. etc. I think most people, male or female, working 60 to 70 hours a week expect to be able to provide a home for their family and basic needs. The fact that some don't need to provide those things does not change the basic concept that an employee has a reasonable expectation of receiving a fair pay check for their work. If someone does not expect that then that is a matter of personal choice.
