    There's no doubt that there are some truck drivers are out there driving in another world. But there is also a very good reason why some trucks do not pull over onto the shoulder. If I'm loaded up (most the time it was over 100,000lbs) I am not going to pull this truck onto a portion of the road that I do not know if it will hold the truck or not. Out in the desert where I did most of oversize driving it's very easy for a flash flood to wash out part of the road. I will not be the tester with a load of gasoline.
