Since retiring from the US Navy after 23 years. I went thru ATI and got my CDL (with HN) I've always had a healthy respect for the trucking industry, so now I wanted to try my hand at it.
I accepted a position with Averitt Express and go to TN on the 8th of June. Training in Greenville, NC after that for 6 weeks; Then work out of Portsmouth, VA as a solo.
I have an open mind when it comes to information, so I'll troll through the forums and try to gain knowledge. But if you have anything to offer a new driver, don't hesitate to throw it my way.

Expect the worst, and hope for the best.
