you can do better then that. GO get the Donaldson mufflers. the cheapest out there. look in the top and you will see a cone shaped metal piece. get a hack saw and cut the tabs holding it in and you have a straight through muffler for like $40

there is a guy on ebay who sells them cheap. I don't know quality though. I'm currently looking myself. I want a set of 7's but the price just about doubles every inch over 6"

6's would be good on that truck. Keep it old school.

7's can look old school. Anything bigger is circus material though. I just like the 7's because they hide the cab to sleeper gap a bit more without sticking out too far

Had a dynaflex put on at 4 states, driver was getting tired of the straights, he likes riding with the sunroof open. Set me back about $300, they did a good job and it still has a good rumble to it. I liked the straights, but i'm not the one that spends all day in it, i just get to play every now and then when he's taking a break.

Thats true. Some tall miter cuts would be awesome. Some trucks look pretty good with 8's and maybe a little bigger. Kind of a case by case on that though. This would be one of those cases!

I know the pictures are horrible... but in my defence they were taken on a Arkansas Interstate in a short wheel base day cab pete with Air Trac suspension. Was the sharpest truck I've seen in a loooong time.

$300 isn't so bad. I may look for a set of straights and half the cost with bossman or something.
