Im a husband with a family of 3 from Chicago, IL. I got accepted for driver training at both these companies yet im having a very hard time trying to figure out who to roll with. Millis seems good with many great reviews. Pay is good for a new driver. Trucks seems fresh & new with top notch training. As for Schneider just seem like your avg starter company that you get a year from & leave. I need as much help as possible. It would be greatly appreciated. I know I will have ups & downs with both companies but its all about being satisfied with a good working experience & solid pay to get by for a year then I can go to a local company since I have a family.

I've heard many times that Schneider has a very good training program. There pay not so great. Good luck on getting trained and getting some experience. With 6 months to a year of experience, more opportunities will open up for you. Seems there is almost always freight in and out of Chicago . You live in a good area. Good luck . Be careful. Don't do anything stupid. And you should be making decent money in a year or two. But gotta pay some dues.

I'd go Millis and be a company driver. I think PRIME would try to make you lease their equipment. Don't need that pressure starting out.
