10 fold better! I really didn't start getting serious about it until I met my now wife. And June 9th we are expecting our first little one! So I decided to step it up. I can't be a fat ### and keep up with a toddler. Lol. So, even tho I'd lost some weight before Jan of this year, it was slooooow goin lol. So in jan I started ordering nutrisystem and have lost nearly 50 lbs since January alone.
My goal is 220, but once at 250 I'm going to wein off the nutrisystem and be my own food manager to see what I've learned.
And it's very true, we all can easily let things like weight spiral out of control. But, as I've found, even tho I didn't believe I could do it, there's always a way to get back on track. So, for the sake of the person who this post was dedicated to, hopefully they can get back on track as well. Because it has simply proven to be night and day comparing 365-270 lol. I actually bought a pair of shorts the other day that were smaller waist than I wore in junior high. That kinda stuff inspires the motivation.
Top bunk weight limit?

Would it be ok, well first call OSHA, and have them do their specs on it, the. Make sure you get workers comp ins. Also you will need to get ahold of your insurance agent for added weight, the. Get ahold of dot need to get that overweight permit. Then I think you will be fine.

We had a guy in our CDL class that was over 500 lbs. He could not shift into 6 gear without opening the driver door and sliding over towards the door, without a seat belt on, as it would not fit around him.
He would use the parking brake to stop instead of the brake pedal sometimes, as he could not easily get his foot on the brake.
When he went to the DOT to take the driving test, they failed him, and told the instructor to not bring him back for a redo. -
That isn't right. They can't say "you're too large so you can't take the CDL exam." No other industry will hire him so trucking was his only meal ticket and they shooed him away.

I'm curious why you would say that. From the description, it sounded like he was too big to drive legally or safely.lonewolf4ad Thanks this.

Because being overweight is now considered a disease and can qualify for disability, and there are no rules saying one cannot weigh xx amount of pounds. I bet a good lawyer could sue for discrimination and the poor guy could just retire on that.DriverToBroker Thanks this.

Hopefully our legal system isn't that much of a joke.
I doubt he failed because he weighed too much. I'm guessing he failed because he couldn't wear a seatbelt, he couldn't shift gears without opening the door, and couldn't use the brake pedal.
I would expect any one of those three reasons would be enough to fail a CDL test.lonewolf4ad, kw9's rock and drummerwookie Thank this. -
If you can't hit brakes that's totally not a problem! So let's sue the company for them not letting me drive!!
kw9's rock Thanks this.
