Parked Here for the Night

Trucks parked at pilot, I'm parked next to d wifey at hospital. Arrived in the city 11:20. Darn okie scales at Texas border was having a field day. Got a work out in picking up my load out of cactus. Trailer legs were super high, and space was super narrow, but after 20 minutes or so. I was ready to go. Back on the road tmrw. We back quiet.

 

I used to have a "good time" at the motel in the downtown(well about 1.5mi from downtown),but very happily married now so parked at T.S. off "40". Takin a break in Sky City,NM and havin such a good day..I cannot believe I get paid what I do to do this.. Well....you know...

 

Ohio turnpike Amherst service plaza, tornado warnings again, was here Monday and some nasty storms rolled thru.
Gonna have to get busy installing a basement in this truck

Well almost made it home a day early , rest area on 81 in PA.
I ran out of freakin hrs......

At loves on 69 in Marion Indiana watching the freak show. Went inside and got a heart attack in a sack and a guy twice my age was bragging how the trucks were lined up to the interstate and how he was blocking the fuel island. We had a rather loud discussion on courtesy at the fuel islands. Came out after he did and he was arguing with the manager how he couldn't move because his clock ran out while he was at McDonald's. He was gonna have to take a 30 in the island. I give up. He may or may not have been a company driver for the carrier I am leased to.

 

12 miles from the house to that pilot. left this morning @ O dark 30 for a run to Fl.
now I'm sitting in Ft Myers, Fl tonight.

 

TruckDuo strongly suggested I stop at the AC&T in Hagerstown, MD. Glad I did. This chicken is delicious!!!!!
