PP probably means pre-plan. That is when they let you know you are getting a load after you deliver the one you are on.

Thanks, so it looks like I might be getting approved for WIA funding to goto ASD in Fontana, CA to get my CDL, I see that the farthest west terminal is Phoenix, AZ is this correct? I'm in SoCal so thats not too far from home, is this a good place to work out of?
-
I think your going to the Dallas, TX terminal for orientation.
-
We don't have a terminal in Phoenix. That's jyst a drop yard.
harlycharly55 Thanks this. -
is there 1 in SoCal? they have ads in the local craigslist saying dedicated and otr.
-
They have a yard in Fontana, but it's not a real terminal.
-
They will put you on a bus to the Dallas terminal then once orientation is over bus you again possibly to your trainer..... wherever that is.
-
They used to do a small orientation at the Colton yard, but we have moved to Fontana. Talk to a recruiter. I don't have much info about west coast runs.
-
don't get caught up in terminal locations. You will be running from shipper to shipper, not going to terminals. Generally places you want to avoid anyway.
-
Indeed, most of the terminals suck. Repairs are generally better off at a dealership anyway, they'll route you to one.
