From Day One - Abilene Motor Express (Richmond, Wytheville, VA)

I got to get up with Skydiver on here. He would absolutely know!

 

Me to I miss the jumps at 2 am. Unlike mist people I like jumping at night because you cone down slower. Its got something to do with the heat of the earth rising. I just know I always came down slower at night.

 

I did my Del in tulsa and my drop & hook at Okc and now at the house. I'll be back out on Tuesday. Be safe everyone.

Wow!!! I had to drop my Pella in the heavy section. No trailer parking. Had to park in the middle of the lot. No bobtail parking. Need to be up by the building so I can Netflix. I see a certain Volvo idling, why I don't know. Maybe needed to to rocked to sleep...lol. Jonathan said we have mega HP and Sabra loads that got to go.

 

I was comfy.

Im beginning to hate HP. My load wasn't ready until 1900 down at Plant 1. Got down there and got my BOL out of the mailbox. Hey my trailers not there. I go inside to see if the right trailer number is on it. The said they just printed out the BOL and the trailer might be at the yard or plant 2. What?!?!?! Was really getting upset because of the time wasted. Good thing was I didn't have to sweat the 0800 del the QC had. BOL had 1500 delivery. Down here at the J in Latta, SC for the night.

 

Getting to spend the day at the yard. Suits me just fine though. Need to make sure my hours are right to get home. I'll do a little jaunt up to Jersey and back then be home Wednesday evening, deliver on Thursday near the house, take care of my business, then spend the last 15 minutes of my home time on Tuesday getting my mindset right about my new student. He's new, brand new. If this works out according to plan, I'll have him until I go on vacation in October, then while my wife and I are floating around the Pacific ocean for 10 days I will decide if I want to continue this brain damage called training. My ego can't take another failure, sorry. I guess it is all about me......lol

 

Anyone care for fresh moose or lobster. 2 nd stop is 100yds from Canada on an island.
