Uum, 'scuse me but I think we are now calling them Diving Championships now-a-days. The industry is diligently pursuing an image of the PC Professional Driver and "Rodeo" implies that we are all cowboys "yee-hawing" down the road.
Rodeo! Huuruumph. How totally non-PC. <sarc>

sometimes I poke my head out the window....it actually throws me off more I've found. If I get out and look I'm good, or just use mirrors, but poking my head out somehow I always end up a little crooked :/ -

Backing comes with practise , once you know how your trailer will pivot with the axles at different settings and you have clean mirrors you shouldn't have any problems. If you are where there are other drivers and it is a very tight spot someone will usually help you out telling you how close you are getting to other objects. Had that the other day very tight spot and a young Werner driver helped me with the blind side. Would have been alot easier if the mental midget from Crete had not parked his truck in the no parking area in front of the loading docks. I figure he was half blind and didnt see the 4x8 sign that said no parking, and had a mobility issue and couldnt walk from the truck parking area to the shipping office. One has to wonder what was going through his mind as all other drivers were parking in the parking area and then walking to the shipping office.
