Hey guys! Been a long time

I finally got hometime last week and now im back out..
Almost made it to my consignee but day before delivery truck decided to not turn on anymore!

Sitting in a hotel since friday, with no eta available on truck

 

Who else is getting ran into the ground!? I've been running out my 70 every day for almost 2 weeks. Check last week was pretty, so I won't complain too much!

 

Got into a problem with my 70; 2+06 remaining and 2+33 to get to cons and 0+00 back = restart. My fault in that I didn't flag it earlier (thinking I got hrs back Sun), but 3300 miles, tarp and secure tend to do that.

 

Fridays check was for 4017 miles. 3 loads, 1 was no tarp and the other 2 were tarp multi stop. Probably closer to 4500 miles if not more. Yea, I was tired.

Just delivered in Selma CA and have 2h02m left on my 70. I'm not going anywhere today. Time for some R&R!

 

Good for you Mrh2008. I sat for a day in Florida last week and sat most of the wknd in VA. Been waiting an hour along with four other drivers waiting on a load. I want to stay out longer but seems like a hometime request is the only thing that gets things moving. 25 hr on my 70 and get 11 back on Wednesday.

 

Just left the house. Picked up at McLain forest products headed to Dallas.

So im still at the hotel.Had to do a repower to get my load moving. Went down to the dealership to repower, guy was really nice and helpful.Truck finally starts, starter was no good. But there was a problem with the security system as well, they had to unplug it. Also have a check engine light now, mechanic said a problem with fuel/def not goin correctly.Hopefully its done by tomorrow and i can finally get moving. It sucks where i am, only a DQ within walking distance...not the greatest food ever.At least i was able to watch the finals yesterday and western today. Missed watching the nba games
