Mine didnt, i drove a 2011. The fender shake is from the tires. My tires started shaking the hood and i got tires replaced and it fixed it.

From spending too much time driving on the rough roads in Calif.

If the hood is shaking, it us usually a tire issue, or possibly a bent rim or something like that. In any case, it can happen to any truck. Not just Volvos.

I'm buying a 2011 volvo vnl670, it has a d-13 engine, and 470k millage. Is this truck prudent buy? I mean This truck is a 2011, but has a 2009 engine. WTF, huh? it also is ishift.
How good are volvos -
I loved my volvo. I work for pepsi and they leased it from salem leasing. If buying be aware about the def filter might need changing. Mine had right at 200k and it had to be changed. I think its supposed to be changed around 400-500k. Not cheap job from what tech told me.
Otherwise volvos are nice but get kind of cramped even with one person. -
Might of been a glider kit. Pepsi has new freightliners that the chassie is 2011s but refurbished engine and trans.
karma123 Thanks this. -

Aren't they all.

Also water leaks into sleepers on rainy day. On newer than 2011.
