If your heartbeat is over the limit then they'll tell you that you can't do Dollar General. It happened to one guy at our orientation who was in better shape than me.

His option was to do OTR then test his heartbeat I think in 3 months. If he scored better then he could do Dollar General.

Hmm I see. I may have a higher than normal heart rate. When I took my DoT physical last year just before I started driving school, the doctor made me do a little test similar to USX. He made me lift a basket weighing 30lbs a little above my head 3 times, then made me drag a blanket that had about 30-40lbs in it down his hallway and back, and also made me lift a 50 lbs bar from waist height to breast/nipple height 3 times. Afterwards my heart rate was about 150bpm. Keep in mind I'm 6'1 and 185 lbs and my blood pressure then was near perfect at 122/80. So I'm no way in poor shape.

I remember him looking kind of puzzled at my heart rate when I got done. I felt absolutely fine. He then asked me some questions like if I've ever passed out while doing mildly strenuous tasks and if I get chest pains and a few other questions. I said no, which is the truth. He passed me and gave me my card but said I should keep an eye on it. I kind of forgot about it because like I said, when I do physical tasks, I feel fine, I get tired/exhausted like normal after a while, but as far as anything major like passing out, nope.
