Im a rookie in this industry and I think all students need that xtra push. I made this video for newcomers who think this industry is easy.

Plz leave feed back if you like video thanks
mje Thanks this. -
I never realized new drivers thought everything was going to be handed to them. My perception is that too many of them think it's going to be easy to pick up the skills and master the basics, and then quickly move up the 'ladder' (such as it is)

Your very right bt they bc they graduated that its all going to fall in place and thats not true. I have learn first had you have to work hard to get to that next step and that next milestone.

I really like the video. Nothing earth shattering in terms of material but it seems like you have a solid head on your shoulders and seem like you're ready for this career ahead of you. Solid advice for newcomers entering the industry. Also, thanks for your service because even though I'm Canadian, I can appreciate both of our Forces. Best of luck to you man.

Im glad you liked the video its crazy how student truck drivers come into trucking then start complaining days later, you have to walk before you crawl.

I liked your video.. I really like that you were straight forward and told they gotta work to get where they want...
I was at one of our drop yards the other day picking up an empty... Rookie driver and new on our account.. was sitti g in his truck jamming to the radio... sees me looking for an empty.. ( walk behind see if there is a seal)
He gets ojt his truck and comes up to me and informs me there are no empty trailers.. I told him I was just gonna walk down and back in case one got missed... well. Sure enough.. no empty... so, he is back in his truck jamming to nis radio.. says to me.. see you made that walk for nothing.. no empties, I have been here over 3 h ours hoping someone drops an empty... I go to my truck and get on the phone with dispatch... they sent me to another place and I got hooked up to an empty with in 37 minutes.... why would someone just sit in their truck listening to music with their 14 hours ticking away... those are the drivers who complain they aint making money... well, sucks to be you... I am making a good pay check...
I know dispatch doesnt like me waiting idle.. I sit and send message after message after message on my qualcom, and I call and call... so they like me rolling cause I cant type out messages and send ready for load macros over and over..jacolbyhud, Dinomite, gpsman and 2 others Thank this.
