Are the any good? I just want something to keep drinks cold and I don't want it to break in three months.

During the last year I purchased six RoadPro electronic items, and EVERY ONE of them failed within six months. I called RoadPro and let's just say I had a less than enthusiastic customer service experience.

I own a Koolatron brand cooler, had it now going on a year, and it works great. Other TTR members have also recommended the Koolatron brand or Coleman.

    Stay away from RoadPro products.

Thanks so much for the input! I'm glad I didn't buy it just now.

If you want a small cooler, I've got the Funcool model of Koolatron. This is a good size, carries easily with a fold up handle, and holds enough to keep me supplied with fresh produce and juice. I get to Walmart on average once every 5 days or so when I'm on the road. Right now I've got mine stowed inside one of the side lockers in a Cascadia.

I've been in team situations with teammates that have the bigger coolers, the "Knee Bangers" that have to sit out in the middle of everything, and from what I see they end up stocking it like they do their home refrigerator: multiple water bottles or other drinks cooling at the same time, and stuffed to the gills with meat and items they can't possibly eat in time before they start going bad. The smaller cooler works well because I've learned to buy just enough to fill one of those carry baskets in the store. It's rare for me to have anything spoil. If I want a cold water for driving then I put ONE in the cooler at a time.

    zoekatya and 58Skylane Thank this.

That is the problem with the Coleman I mentioned. It is pretty big, but may fit is most sleeper closets. But, it does also need fresh cool air in the summer to work properly.

I bought a coleman 40 at Walmart last year. Got the 2 year extended warranty they offer for another $8. I didn't clean out the heat sink and it burned out the fan. I called the extended warranty people and they sent me a walmart gift card for the entire amount of my purchase. They only had me send in the receipt so I decided to fix my other one.

I bought this computer fan for $6.00 and its working like a charm. Not bad for a $15 investment.
