Went on a service call one time because someone swapped the red and blue airlines to the trailer.

 

Tire-Thumper? My XDS .45 will do the job with less exertion...lol

Got out there, "Trailer brakes won't release." Okay, I checked the red line, air came out when he pressed the dash knob, hooked that back up, looked under the trl, didn't see anything amiss. Went back to the front of the trailer..."Wait a second." Swap 'em around, "Try it again". Bingo. Company miffed at the driver, driver p---ed at the world, but my employer still has to get paid.

 

lol then just make sure you don't shoot em in that state, throw em in trailer and take to next state that doesn't mind then shoot em....

 

I've never sabotaged anyone's truck in spite nor in jest but I did find one morning, when I was doing my pretrip, that my trailer tandems release handle was pulled.

 

say for example one day you do a pre trip and you find someone has pulled your lever. Is there a way to reengage the lock quickly?

 

yep just back up on it, and if you need a little more force and want to be sure pull forward a little bit but not too far (remember airlines and pigtail still connected) then back up do tug pull and double check locking jaw good to go
