Today's lunch. Cherrywood smoked hardboiled eggs and cheese venison brats. Wash it down with a couple cold Summits.

 

Smoked eggs. I may have to give that a shot next time I'm home. Lookin awesome and those brats sound great.

'stards! Here I am stuck with a blue law not allowing adults to be adults on Sunday, and nothing around but a Subway and a WaffleHouse. Thanks a lot, Danny.

 

Had a friend call me. Told me about a friend of his that went to work at some potash plant in Texas near San Antonio. This guy went speeding through some small town and a county tried to pull him over. He ran from the county. He ran from the black and whites. He avoided the spike strip. Well, they cornered him and arrested him set him at $15000 bond. Well, the guy's sister and his wife called my buddy and told him what happened, kind of hinting around that they need some bail money. My buddy told them that he was saving his money to move to Texas, and that he could only spare a couple hundred bucks. He found out that his friend made bail. He says that when he tried to contact the guy on Facebook, the guy defriended him.

my buddy said to me, "Six, you were right. You told me that guy wasn't my friend."

Gee, hard choice...give a bonehead $1500 so he won't defriend me or go ahead and defriend the bonehead?

Am I missing something? I can't understand the whole Facebook thing. I sure as heck wouldn't list my friends online either.

 

Stopped at the Flying J in Sioux Falls and field up and got the heck out of there. What a cluster ... Sitting in Mitchell, SD at the I-90 Travel Center till morning. Then heading west to Gillette

 

Hanging by the pool drinking some wine. The water finally hit 84 so it's finally bearable.

That lots always packed. One of maybe 3 spots in/around Denver to park. Not just all the local guys but you also got all the guys who get stranded in Demver with no freight. But they have a #### good restruant !!!
