From Day One - Abilene Motor Express (Richmond, Wytheville, VA)

I actually say an empty flatbed roll his truck going into a fuel island. At the flying j in Ardmore, ok. I should say I heard it but by the time I came from the sleeper and looked his truck was on its side. But the wheel was still moving. I still dont understand how he rolled.it going into the fuel pump. It would have been worse if he made it another 20 feet would have taken out the pumps.

there is a video of a truck which rolled backward from the fuel island. They had to cut the landing gear loose just so they could tow it back onto the driveway!

 

Im sorry but physics are running through my head. How the hell can you roll an empty flatbed in a parking lot!!! I mean you really got to work to make that happen!! Not doubting one bit it happened because strange stuff happens... How'd you like to explain that to your boss?

 

That would have been the case with "Gilligan" my very first trainee if I hadnt awakened and popped the brakes. And they wonder why I wont team train!!!!

 

When I get back to the house I will try to find my old cell phone cause I got pics of it. From my understanding he was going about 35 and somehow flip it like I said bu tge tine I heard the noise and got of bed and looked there he was 100 feet away on his side and wheels still turning

 

I don't feel so bad now.

 

Even better is a video of a USA truck trying to turn around at a low bridge. I can't post it from my iPad but I'll try to get the link tonight. It is one of those things that you just can't believe anyone is that stupid.

 

I've seen that video numerous times, and every time I see it I want to throw up. It's amazing what they put on the road today.

I like the attempt to power his way over the hill as the pieces of the fairing are breaking off!
