Location for the night

Argh!!

My workflow said 'live load'. Customer closed...big shocker, it was 2030 on the Sunday before Memorial Day. Turns out, it's a D/H, with paperwork in a mailbox. Would have been nice to know, so I could have left it here and rolled on my next load early tomorrow. Now, I have to go back in the morning to pick it up, to bring it back here (a whole 2 miles, round trip) and pick up my relay for tomorrow.

If I hadn't been on ignore with Support Shaft for 20 minutes, I would have had time to take care of it...grrr.

 

Still drunk still on emergency leave. Not going back to work till Thurs. by then my beer 🍺 fund will run out. 19 years never been away from my truck this long. But family 👪 is first and sni has been awesome.

 

Still at home. I don't have a preplan yet so I guess I get another day at home? EDIT: finally received my marching orders. Time to shower and get going.

Service plaza just east of Syracuse. About 50 miles to tomorrow's D/H, then 180 mile deadhead to live load, then 500+ back toward Obetz...not a relay, though!! D
