A few drivers say they get home on weekends with TMC, but I don't know if it's company policy or luck.

Apply with all of them and maybe some job offers.

 

What does your criminal and driving record look like? are you a convicted pedophile? did you slam into church bus full of nuns 10 years ago?

OP : Cheeseman in Charlotte has an apprentice program for CDL grads. Hometime is weekly or daily. Dress nice and go visit their office. Any company you're interested in that has a terminal close by; drop in and do an application.

theoretically flat bed companies are better at getting you home on weekends better then others
Maverick drivers seem to accomplish this
most seem quite satisfied there
from all reports they have an extensive training program for the flat bed division
I wouldnt count on weekly HT in the refrigerated division
most reefer fleets run hard on weekends for Monday deliveries

 

most tmc drivers get home weekly and your in a good freight area for TMC.
