I'll have to find that out tonythetruckerdude, however I am pretty sure my 6spd tractor will be considered a manual tranny.

It's most likely synchronized...drive like a big pickup

Thanks guys, I just confirmed it does not matter if the tranny is 6 sod or 18 spd. Testing on the 6spd will remove my auto restriction. After all o just want it removed, the employer just can't hire someone with a manual restriction, oh well I gota pay to get paid!
Tonythetruckerdude Thanks this. -
Most yes, all no. My Pete is an 8 speed.
-
I stand corrected....I was thinking the the typical 8-speed ( H-pattern ) still has a "granny gear" next to the drivers seat. My bad.
-
Is that considered an 8 or a 9?
-
IMHO it's a 9-speed...some folks may call it an 8-speed , simply because that "granny gear" is rarely used. But , in all fairness there really isn't much difference. I mean an H-pattern is still an H-pattern..... you know , you say potato , and I say tater....
-
Well, then I stand corrected. By you reasoning I have a 9 speed.
-
I should learn it later, but I'll ask now. When starting at an incline. Do I use the parking brake, give it some gas ease off the clutch and release parking brake?
-
No. Steeper the incline the lower the gear. Brake and clutch. Once you off the clutch give it fuel.
