That's exactly why I did it the way I did. I am starting out the week with a load going to Kentucky. By the time I hit tank wash on Thursday, I will have 1,100 miles and be in great shape to pick up and run another 1,600+ before Monday evening cutoff.
-
Oh IC pay period cuts off Monday?
-
Yeah, we are Tuesday through Monday. Because of that, I schedule my home time Monday and Tuesday. Gives me 2, 6 day pay periods in a row vs a 7 and a 4 or 5. Just helps keep the income smooth.
Njhandofdoom Thanks this. -
True that is a smart idea

I am in business to make money. Being flexible is the key.

So far only one scale in La is open today
-
Just relaxing in Reserve now got a assignment tomorrow to hook to an empty intermodal trailer first one will be pulling, getting loaded literally like 200 feet from terminal then heading to Houston and dropping at a plant out there then that's it for tomorrow
-
Well I got loaded in Reserve and it was horrible cause I sat there for 3 hours before they could even load me cause that bad storm flooded their lot which meant the scales were ###### up so they had to wait then they got me loaded so couldn't make it to destination in time which I found out was a rail yard not plant so they had me relay it in Houston and then got a load today going to Memphis Tn I am at a flying j in Texarkana Ar right now for the night.

That J gets PACKED!!!!!
