Oh. .I need a vacation! Lol. I had to chuckle when it read the message "PP OK?"...ummm yeah it's fine.

And yes. . Stopping all the time blew! I learned quickly that if it didn't chirp twice. . Probably wasn't worth stopping.

I just realized that next weekend I will have been in this truck 7 months. . Climbed in it with 418k on the odometer. . Has 499k on it now. .81, 000 miles. .hmmm, 11, 500 miles a month avg..

There was a time that I would have said I was being lazy with that monthly avg...when I originally climbed in a truck 3, 500-4, 000 mile weeks were common. . Kill yourself for $450-500 take home checks. .ugh!

It's nice to run 2, 200-2, 500 miles a week. . Take home a good check.. And be able to enjoy your home every couple of weeks without worrying about going in the hole and never climbing back out.

I figured everybody would be tired of my mileage and checks. .I just checked sensor tracs on the QC.

I'm averaging 7.7mpg...dash says 7.3mpg..I usually buy my fuel based on a 7.0 average and try to purchase as little as possible. It's just my way, I know others like to have full tanks at the end of the week. ..(btw my mileage increased recently. .I was down to 6.8mpg.. had to slow down and concentrate on my shifting. .again)

I'm averaging $1, 300.00 net per week. . Last week it was $1, 600.. this week $1, 300.

The increase in pay will help. .I think the .03 per goes into effect 6/1.. That will increase my take home approx $75-$80 per week.

I can/will give you access to my post settlements on ACT website if that helps. .I don't believe there's any personal info on there other than my name. . And witness protection can change that.

 

I love mowing the yard/pasture. .I strap a cooler full of coors lite on the fender. .let the brush hog down and start out in a straight line. .

By the time I'm done. (It's never done)..I can't walk a straight line. . Let alone cut a straight line. . But I enjoy it, And as long as I stay inside the barbed wire I'm on my property lol.

Enjoy the weekend. . I'm at my 2nd pet smart drop. .I finish in Tulsa (3rd stop).. haven't got a pre plan yet but it's only 0600.

I'm off next weekend. .I think I'll play some golf with my brother.

 

Lmao.. I've had days like that. . Just grab another beer and keep swinging.

I delivered in Lincoln AL.. and THOUGHT I would do the usual. . Reload in Decatur and head to GE in Indiana. Wrong. .I loaded in Madison GA heading to Lawrence KS... that works. .2, 000 miles in 4 days and off for the weekend.

It's my grandson b-day. .6 years old. . Lord how the time flies. We (meaning all of us drivers) miss so much of our families lives. I'm going to try and be home more often. .

I didn't add my miles up from last week. . So I APPROXIMATELY had 2, 800 miles. . I'm averaging 7.5mpg..I had 4 hours of detention at $35 per. . $100 multi drop pet smart pay and $50 per stop x2 ($100).. My take home this week is $1, 700... I'm not complaining.

23 more payments/months and I can slow down a little bit. .

 

Lol..I came back from hometime yesterday afternoon. .I received a pre plan going from certainteed in kcks to Houston TX. .

Finding an empty trailer on the yard is becoming difficult to say the least! I finally snagged one and headed to the Fairfax district. . Get to shipper only to find my load number is incorrect. . The one I have is in Canada. .Ugh! 2 things, That's a very long dead head and I'm not going to Canada. Anyway, customer service is "working on it".

I'm finding that home time is becoming difficult. .I believe I understand how/why people that have been in prison go back. . The confined space in the truck is somehow comforting. . Being out of it for only a few days is driving me crazy. .I feel like I'm out of my element.

Anyway, No golf (dang it) My brothers wife wouldn't give him his balls back. . I'll let you figure out which balls I'm talking about. I did catch a few channel cat though. . So the weekend wasnt a complete waste.
