Just want to say its good to hear that you do care when training, I have read so much about bad trainers. I am getting ready to start school and not sure what company I will get hired by(I am jumping through hoops to get WIA paid school at ASD in Fontana, CA, they say they will help me get hired after I pass my CDL) but I hope to get a trainer like you! Any suggestions on good companies to try out here in SoCal?

May I add a roll of paper towels, hand sanitizer, hammer to check tires with. Laptop, kinda hard to get WIFI sometimes. Withdraw cash from ATM, try not to use debit card too much. Someone charged $100.00 worth of Starbucks using my numbers.. Sleeping bag is an excellent idea!!

Good luck on your adventure. Most every thing for the truck your trainer already has. Just pack what is needed for class room and and personal items. Then you can get the heavy bulky stuff when your on your own.. by the way. Of the things your taking with you to school that have a serial number . lap top, camera and the like. . Copy them down and keep them with you in case they grow legs.

Bringing a cooler will work well but while you are sharing someone's living space it would be better to see if the trainer already has a fridge or cooler and ask if you can place a couple things in it. Trucks are already tight on space and bringing all the extra stuff will not make the trainer happy you are invading his/her home or endear you to them. I'm not saying not to bring any food at all I'm advising you to be selective about the amount you bring.
Some ideas that don't require refrigeration and you can put into a small duffle bag are individual peanut butter, jelly packs from fast food places, mayo and relish packs, individual tuna or chicken pouches, small cans of veggies, small fruit cups, lunch cans ravioli and also microwave soups, beanie weenie, saltine or ritz crackers(will keep longer than bread), oatmeal packs, jerky, packs of nuts
Try to plan your meals daily and communicate with your trainer as most are good about trying to get you though a wal-mart or grocery if you ask and give enough notice of needing to go. It's hard to plan a trip when you are requesting spur of the moment.
Hope this helps! -
It is not just the food you take just be willing to share some of it.. You may get the trainer to see the savings and he she may do the same with you. Good advice given about waiting until you meet the trainer to see what you should bring, to see if there is have room to store, and the ability to cook or cool.
