80" ... just have to mount it on the back wall.

are you talking about in the cubby on the wall ect, i have a condo single bunk with a 19 in on the sleeper wall
celery425 Thanks this. -
I built a wood frame with a 6" flange at the top around our 23" when we had a Cascadia and hung it with a strap below the top bunk. We used the top bunk for storage and had the refrigerator up there. The strap went around the refer and the flange on the tv.

You can fit a 24in widescreen HD Insignia from BestBuy diagonally into the opening. I mounted a swing arm inside the cabinet to the front side so I can swing it out and tilt it down to watch in bed at the optimum angle. Going down the highway I set it back against the opening with a velcro strap. My printer and BluRay player are set in behind the tv. I can post a pic if that set up interests you.

If I'm reading this write this is what I did in my Pete with a 24" Vizio LED. I think the openings are the same size. Got a DVD player on the shelf and the inverter behind that and the TV swings over the top of them

Aren't we soooo glad we have slimline HDTVs these days. How on earth would we ever get an old 23" cathode ray Tube TV in a truck. We could barely lift it over our heads.....LOL.
celery425 and BoazTrucker Thank this. -
But I would think you don't want to go much above 23" otherwise you're gonna be too close to the screen. I have a 21" and it's fine. Looks pretty good and the picture is great. But I guess if you really want to push it, a 32" would work in a Cascadia. The condo/ bunk space is pretty big. It just has to be stable. I've ruined a couple of TVs in the past when I didn't secure them well enough.
Good luck. -
Measure your distance from your eyes to screen. Multiply inches by .625.This would be about optimal. I wouldn't worry to much about HD on a small TV, wouldn't benefit from it very much.
