Who asked for that again? Not sure if you were were referring to my resolution question or someone else.

Seems that most things that use the term "for truck drivers" is overpriced junk. This that are heavy duty or have a truck feature are generally better. Does that make sense? You know what I mean, or you will when you see it for sale. :)

No it isn't. That is the same cut and paste that you've put into various threads at least 5 times (including Rand's support thread...) The only thing I said was that I could not find the screen technology and resolution except for "5-point touch." (for example: 1920 x 1200 capacitive)

And, while I'm thinking about it. Do you know if it will let you upgrade to Android 4.4 (and beyond as they come out?)

And, do you know if the map updates cost and how often they come out?

And, did they give you free shipping from Canada? I was unable to see how you got it for $279.

I picked up a tablet a few days ago and just downloaded the free version of CoPilot to try it out. I think I have 14 days of 3D maps with voice at no charge.
Once I've downloaded the Canada/US maps, will there be any benefit to having other, regional maps as well?

Nope... The regional maps are only useful if you only run in a small area and have limited space on your device.

if you got canada and america. what other regions could you possibly want.

and unless you actually go into canada. it's a waste of storage. as for testing it out. remember, your using the car version.

I thought maybe the regional maps would be more in depth.
Yes I live in Canada so that's why I opted for it. But I looked up a Canadian zip code for a fairly large town and it didn't come up.
