I'll keep that in mind. I've been studying the handbook as well. I hope the call with the recruiter goes well enough!

 

don't sweat the recruiter, their job is to get you in.. and all they are looking for is, are you a mass murder, or a terrorist.... or a current drug user....

learn your pretrip, practice it, don't waste your time, use every minute of practice time they give you. Some of the basics won't make sense at first... accept them, they will as time goes by.

keensburg is 46 miles from the center of denver... that will add 2 hours minimum commute time to each day...

 

I called in today and everything went well. I'll have the official phone interview tomorrow. After that, I'll start the schooling on the 9th, I was told that I could get in this Monday, but that'll put me in the awkward position of not hitting my 22nd birthday by the time I'm done with school.

I've had a bit of experience with the pretrips on buses when I held a Class B permit for a short time. Hopefully it'll all come back to me pretty quick lol. I have a PDF of the handbook as well, I'll be studying that like crazy before I get there.

Thankfully I'm staying somewhere right off of I-76, it'll still be quite a bit of a commute, but it shouldn't be too bad.

 

Got my class A!!! Another huge hurdle crossed.
