Actually 14 mph over and above nobody will touch you. Insurance issues.

Really? Wow. I guess times have changed. I remember calling places and they said 14+ is a no go.

I got my start with them back in 2001. Great company. Glad to see that hasn't changed.

Talk with the prosecutor before court begins and ask if the charge can be changed and offer to pay a higher fine. This worked for me 14 yrs ago when I was young with a heavy foot.

take your ticket to a lawyer or one of those "ticket clinics" before going to court .worth to look into ..once into the civil court it is too late cuz your options would be "guilty ,non-guilty or no contest " ..i once pleaded guilty ..the judge reduced my fine but the points are still there ..this scenario may apply to you if you have a mandatory court and in a state whose laws are similar to florida`s ...so that is why am strongly suggesting to consult a lawyer ..you will be surprised how he can lower your points ...best of luck

How long after you got the ticket did they hire you? I heard that if you have the violation on your driving record but the point have dropped off your license there maybe still a small chance.. Not Really sure if it true or not but In NY state after 18 months you get all your points back but it still shows the fine, speed and point for the ticket....

Lawyers and "ticket clinics" are going to speak to the prosecutor before court begins just like I suggjested you do for yourself. If you want to waste your money on them that is your buisness. Get there early find the prosecutor at the front of the court and ask if it can be reduced. I had a 4 point ticket reduced to 0 points just changed the charge to something with increased fines. If you dont get there early and wait until court begins then your options are reduced to three mentioned by Warrior81 then its to late to avoid the points.
