Yeah I was thinking if I take XYZ load to ??? Look at that location and make sure outbound freight is not 0.80 coming out . Or if so to be able To have enough head haul to equal out at least a 1.50 turn was my philosophy going in .

Not sure if it's a good one but what I had in my mind

I always look 3-4 loads ahead before I book any load. Then if it all works out I book them all

Heck when I do that, one of the loads get snagged from me...I was looking at a load today and then looked to see what was behind that and when I came back the first load was gone lol...Sometimes gotta get em while you can.

Can we actually squeeze the load in our plan or we have to book them in a certain sequence?

I'm not sure to be honest..You probably can, but someone who knows better than me may shed some light on that.

You have to book them in sequence. If you want to 'insert' a load into the sequence you have to call your ICA.

Seems to happen to me alot, but I'm still learning the system. I believe I over think things and lose out by the time I decide that's the load I want. So I;m trying to tell myself if I see something decent, grab it. That's what I did last night. After what I thought was going to be a crap week[my fault] hopefully things will turn out ok. Will be dropping in University Park Il in the a.m, the a live load in Romeoville tomorrow going to Newnan Ga., then pickup in Lagrange Ga. going to Mechanicsburg Pa. for a window till tues, but will delv. Mon. Did that in all of 5 minutes, now if everything works out lol

sadwar, mickimause and TennMan Thank this.
