If I had to pick one from what little I know I would say Werner. Seems like they have some decent dedicated accounts from what I've heard.

I know a lot of people who *used* to work for Werner! haven't talked to any Prime drivers, I've talked with numerous knight drivers while waiting at shippers and truck stops, the knight drivers I've spoken with seem to be happy with their jobs....

You will take home more money driving a taxi cab and eating at home than you will make at any of the carriers who are constantly advertising and recruiting drivers.

Another popular occupation where I run into bitter mega carrier ex-drivers is the warehousing industry, where they drive forklifts for $12-18/hr.

You can find many regular jobs at home that don't require training, where you will be able to keep more of your money. Versus driving OTR for cheap paying carriers, and living on the road.

As for the original question.... Prime, better pay for new company driver. Advice: look deeper.

That is always a variable affected by many things.... Where you live, fleet mgr/dispatch. interaction, equipment, luck and of course YOU

The Challenger and jk72180 Thank this.

It all depends on a lot of things like cuzzin it said. I know with prime if you run hard, you can take home a nice chunk of change. If you want dedicated, look for werner. Regional and home time, I'd look at Knight.
