new insurance requirements: pricing

    anyone looked into it? by chance. just for kicks and giggles.

    landline was talking 40% small business o/o's will go under with the new premiums.

    another topic that was interesting. they mentioned that only 1% of all accidents exceed the standards already in place.
    and then, o/o's only contributed to 6% of accidents.

    the other 94%!!!! were contributed to companies with speed limiters and eld's.

    A lot it going to depend upon how much the insurance companies decide to charge for the extra coverage, in that their risk factors are going to be quite low, they may not charge us all that much for it, for those with clean safety records anyway. I guess only time will tell how this all plays out.
