Why this lifestyle?

safety person.........truck driver.........hmmm

 

once they get in that office... they stay

 

not deflating you but practically all you newbs have bosses in those qualcoms and elogs and governed trucks.I appreciate your positive demeanor however so please do not misconstrue.actually and for that matter,not a one of us is our own boss any longer due to the government intervention.I have more freedom in my driving than you will have in yours(especially if you start as a company driver for a mega) yet I feel as if I am restricted with all the new laws and csa's and junk that have been instituted.

I chose this lifestyle because I truly do love my job. That and I would go postal being in an office

 

I'm doing this to help me get motivation to go back to college.

That's why i flatbed LOL

 

I prefer running coast-to-coast; it gives more balance to my lifestyle.
Had a job where I was home often then my girlfriend complained that I was spending too much time with my wife. Went back to coast-to-coast to even things out; now it's 50/50 with the quality time.

 

Your girlfriend...complained about how much time you spend with your wife...

You're gonna have to teach me that trick sometime, mate.

 

Yup usually the worst driver at the company who is given the job because they couldnt drive a sharp stick up a dead dogs ###. This gets them off the road you see.
