5/5-5/10
Easy week. Left Monday around 5:15 AM right after my 34 hr reset was official and ran down to Mobile Al. I had no issues loading and got back to the terminal Wednesday afternoon. Delivered the load Thursday 8:00 AM and was off by 10 AM. Had home time Thursday afternoon, Friday and Saturday.
Had a nice Mothers Day cookout last night at my parents house. Smoking a couple of Boston Butts right now for my Wifes mothers day. Heading out Sunday morning on another Plaquemine load. They will probably run me a 2nd dedicated load this week since I should be in Tuesday if everything goes as planned loading.

Do yall have a rider program

Nope. No passengers or pets. Sometimes I wish we did, I'd like to be able to take my wife on a short run here and there, but I understand the reason for not allowing passengers.

5/11-5/25
Its been a busy 2 weeks. I got back to High Point after my Plaquemine run about 6PM Tuesday 5/13. They had me deliver that load at 8 AM and wait around the terminal until a Kreamer Pa load was ready around noon. It needed to be there at 7 AM the next morning. SOP on this load is to run it all the way up there and park under the rack. The customer wakes you up the next morning. That wasn't going to happen because of the 3 hour delay after delivering the load that morning.
I ran it up to the Greencastle Pa TA and took an 8 hour break. Pulled into the plant at 6:45AM Thursday AM. They took about 5 hours to unload me. That left me with exactly 8 hours left to run the 485 miles back to the terminal with my 14 hour clock ticking down. I chose to not push it and stay out another night. That proved to be a profitable decision.
I ran down to the ACT truck stop in Hagerstown and had lunch with PackRatTDI another moderator here and then ran to the Lee High TA and shut down in the middle of some nasty thunderstorms. Those storms would have slowed me down enough to run out of hours had I chosen to push on without stopping for lunch.
I did not set an alarm and must have been really tired since I didn't wake up until around 7 AM. I only had a couple of hours to go Friday and expected to be off for the weekend so I farted around the truck stop, took a shower and had a sit down breakfast before leaving. As I was just hitting the NC line on US220 I got a call from dispatch asking if I could do him a favor. They had me take a load up to another driver who was delivering in Suffolk Va.
I met him in Emporia and swapped a load going to Reading Pa for his empty which I dropped at the tankwash. I got home about 9PM Friday night 5/16 with another 400 miles in the bank.
Sunday morning 5/18 I headed back to Plaquemine. Got home Tuesday around 6 PM, delivered that load Wednesday morning, grabbed an empty dry bulk trailer and headed for N Chicago. That trailer got swapped for a loaded one Thursday and I dropped it in at Brown Summit NC Friday afternoon. That completed 2 very good weeks.
I am off Sat, Sun and Mon. I still don't know what I am doing next week. I may have Tues off as well. -
I seen a superior carrier on I 40 just east of Memphis pulling a qc trailer...the other day...I tried to get him on the cb but no answer
