4accidents in a car?
....have you considered working for swift?
Normally you get a call within 24 hrs from a recruiter on a weekday if they want you in trucking.Shaggy and nazmulforhad86 Thank this. -
Since you didn't give the nature of your "accidents", let's call them what they really are, collisions, accidents are things that are not preventable, it would look on the surface that most carriers are going to shy away from you because of your driving record until enough of those collisions come off your record because it looks to their insurance company that you're "accident" prone, almost one per year. Now if 3 of the 4 were more than 3 years ago you'll have a better chance, but many companies now want to know about wrecks 5 years or more ago, some like Walmart want to know about ANY wrecks even in 4 wheelers over your whole life. I'm at a union environmental outfit now and they go back 5 years.
I guess I can't say I've "been there, done that" as I've only had one collision in my career that happened after I had 5 years experience in, a lady ran a red light and I t-boned her. Thankfully she wasn't hurt, she signed the exoneration card and my company didn't hit me with a preventable, even though they could have.nazmulforhad86 Thanks this. -
a collision a year is not the best. when the newest one is more the 3 to 5 years ago, you will do much better. be up front about it, and you will be okay. remember, now that you have a CDL, pay attention, be careful and watch your back and cover your ### 24/7 out there. it is YOUR License on the line out there, never never stuid or rash decisions, ever.

You seem to have a pleasant upbeat positive attitude nazmulforhad which is a plus in this industry. But I wouldn't be so quick to think anyone will hire u simply because of those accidents. That raises a reg flag.
nazmulforhad86 Thanks this. -
You can Google trucking jobs and go to one of the websites that has a generic online application that gets sent to all the major carriers. Be honest about the accidents. You do that a couple of times and you should get flooded with contacts from recruiters. Don't worry about the accidents; someone will hire you. Might not be the carrier you want but you take what you can get until you get the experience and the accidents get old enough to get what you want. Best of luck and be safe.
nazmulforhad86 and Davem3TF Thank this. -
CR England will hire almost anyone, so you might want to give them a try... BUT just know that they don't have a very good reputation for treating drivers well. If you can deal with their BS, it might be the only stepping stone you can find right away.
