Having a high school or GED demonstrates commitment, and Sesame Street doesn't cut it

dude just get it over with, suck it up and finish it. Life will be a lot easier

The easy way out is always the hardest road later. Anyone can attest to that.

Not everyone can afford to go back to school and also eat every day.
You can get your GED or high school diploma online; get a laptop and use it in the truck on your downtime.

Many high school grads these days can't even fill out a job application correctly; can't follow directions, can't spell, poor grammar. You can even buy a diploma online and no one really cares. public education today in most schools is focused on political correctness instead of education.

Most high school grads don't even know how to answer questions at job interviews.

Question : "Do you understand you will be required to travel 48 states & Canada?"

Answer : "Uh, do you have a strong diversity program in this company?" "When can I expect my first pay raise?"

No i dont think they look it up. I just dont think most employers check. However i have 1 year of undergrad college courses completed. So in my case IF they check anything i would imagine it would be with the college i attended.

You can not work for BP/ARCO without a GED or better. I've been asked to show proof on one job. I don't know where drivers have been that think they do not need a GED or better. But if you're driving stay there and fill that spot.

Let's make excuses to not get an education just like making excuses for other abhorrent behavior and they can get jobs at the same time. Nothing should ever be earned anymore.

Lie on your resume and say you've graduated from post-secondary school or at least completed your GED. I've never had an employer actually verify whether the information was accurate or not.

Very true on everything you say but I don't know of any employers that will hire without a high school education.Does'nt matter how bad u r at interviews the point is you need a diploma or ged to work unless you work for friends or something like that.
