how about someone take the newest unit for a test drive.
start from vegas. see how it routes to phoenix. but drive the prefered road for truckers. then take a stroll through prescott and watch what happens.
Best GPS unit?

Well i had the RM 710 and 510 over a 2 year time period. Both stopped working and i got frustrated with them. Decided to buy the Truckers Tablet GPS-TT2 and give it a shot. RM if more truckers start switching over to this unit then yall will be hurting. I drove from upstate Michigan to West Jefferson, Ohio following my new navigation unit. Took the shortest way and went through ohio on a few long back roads that RM would never had taken. Plenty of trucks on this route but not an over abundance to say. Was a very enjoyable ride.
As for updates i plug my unit in to my laptop and do a map update once a week and it is free. So far not a single shutdown, lag, or problem with this Android operating system on this tablet.
Will i ever go back to RM? Seriously doubt that when a quick, reliable and accurate navigation unit that is also a tablet cost $250 - $279 and runs great is on the market. -
silentlysailing Thanks this.

(Cute of you to completely ignore my last response to you, btw. But hey, when there's nothing one can refute, I guess it makes sense not to address what is said) -
