I look at it this way...we keep lowering our standards and soon even the trucking industries "better paying" jobs will be a thing of the past. Just like the everybody wins a trophy garbage. In life there are winners and losers...now that being said the level of education doesn't always equate with either one...but when putting yourself into the job market most really good jobs /positions require at least a high school graduate or equivalent. I'm thinking that the graduate would get the nod 1st since that individual has already shown their commitment to finishing what they start.....To some , if not most employers that makes a huge difference , when the choice of picking an employee out of a group happens.
