I don't have to worry about speeding. My truck is governed below the posted speed limit.

Well like I told the other guy you're misinformed. I just looked on Prepass website & nothing at all states that the Prepass has information on the driver of the truck. Only the owner, if you're an owner operator then yes it shows your information. As a company driver none what so ever, only the company name & Information

    hawkjr is correct.

Unless you're the sole owner, proprietor and operator, the Prepass is only tied to the company by Owner, DOT# assigned and the vin of the truck it is assigned to. No one in the scale house knows who is driving that truck, unless

    1. The ISS on that company is so horrible, and that truck goes that route almost each and every single day and they are familiar with that driver or drivers because of such. And even then, it's not always a given. That's why, if you wind up driving another truck, that doesn't have a Prepass, you can't just yank it out and use it in the truck you're now in.

Not to mention, there's a good majority of drivers who don't use it.

And as far as keeping your dash clear, makes no difference to me if YOUR PREFERENCE is to let your trash pile up. You want to believe it's a myth, so be it. Your office, your choice. Roll the dice and take your chances.

I ran through Arizona and New Mexico last night on I-40, usually if any of these proctology operations get underway these states will be busy, but I only noticed two trucks pulled over on the side of the road. The coops were moderately busy, but this is in the middle of the night.
