If you do take the bench with you, you will need to use load rated straps to secure it outside the truck. Bungees will not be dot legal and you can get cited for insecure load.

This guy is jacked! If you can chest press 400lbs go right ahead. I remember a forum from not too long ago about a 500lb guy on top bunk, I wouldn't advise putting the on the beds. But if you get pulled over at the scales for over axle or gross, take the dumbells out with you.

Bodyweight and what is in cab counts..At least that is what I was told in Oregon when I got a 300lb over gross ticket last year. (I'm 280lbs.)

Thanks for all the advice! Ill definetly look into the resistance bands. Although I still wana take my dumbbells and bench. Would hate to get a ticket for being over weight or something though. Was entertaining the idea of stopping at truck stops and calling a taxi to come take me to a nearby gym. I know golds gym is pretty much everywhere. Or maybe a small private gym that would give me a daily rate. Seems like a huge hassle though -__-

Also, Bumpy, how was it ur fault u were overweight by 300 lbs and not the shippers? Are u expected to weigh ur truck right after a load, and if so, if u did and found out they loaded too much on, what should u do then?

I wish I could claim to be in shape but sadly I'm not..Not anything what I used to be however to answer your question-bring weights with-light-and go for reps. Get cardio in as you see "fit".
When on reset hit the gym on the road..what works best for me I've found is Snap Fitness as they are almost everywhere but maybe..someone can come up with a better franchise? Good Luck my Brotha....:)
